The 13.5 release of RenderMan Pro Server introduced a new licensing system, which includes a new license file format and a new PixarLicenseServer application for floating licenses. Sites will need to install the new server in parallel with their old server if both 13.5 and older releases will be used simultaneously. License "host-IDs" are likely the same as before, with the exception of FlexLM dongle-based IDs, which cannot be supported by the new system. There may be Alfred or other queuing system integration implications when using PixarLicenseServer. Please see the licensing documentation for installation and other details.
