License 8.0 Release Notes
There is a new version of the PixarLicenseServer, License 8.0. Changes
to the license server are enumerated below. For further information, please
consult the Licensing documentation.
New Features
- The Pixar License Server now supports Network Address Translation (NAT).
Users should note that this support does not extend to prior releases of
the software, although the license server itself will work, sans NAT
support, with prior releases. Similarly, software releases moving forward
will continue to work with previous versions of the license server but,
again, without NAT support.
